Career opportunities for students
To begin with the experiential learning component of our programme design namely ARS, CSS and MTS exposes our students to rural realities and role played by various development organizations (including development initiatives by corporate sectors) in rural transformation. These components become the trigger for shaping the thought process of students with regard to the career. Some of the students get PPOs from our partner organizations while working through their last field component i.e. Management Traineeship Segment (MTS). This self introspection is followed with mentoring through our new career management initiative.
As a part of this initiative, we start preparing students from the first year itself through a process of personality and skill development to understand their strengths and career goals. During second year we prepare our students for career through a three step training methodology – assessment, training with customized development plan followed by re-assessment. This comprehensive initiative including mentoring paves a way for most of the students zeroing down on a career path which matches their competency and preference.
KSRM has achieved unique distinction of cent per cent placement from the very first batch (2007-09) till date. So far we have placed 366 students in 84 organizations through campus. We are sure that our programme design and our association with our partner organizations numbering 250 across India will continue to improve career opportunities for our students.
