With a view to witness the huge transformations in socio-political, economic and financial sectors in context to the rural India, the 4th National Symposium of Rural Management was hosted by Govind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute, Allahabad. Institutions governing Panchayati Raj, Credit and Insurance and Producers Organisation were mainly focused upon. On this occasion, papers were presented by fellow scholars as well as faculties from rural management institutions across the country. Various events were also organised by G.B.P.S.S.I, in which the students of KIIT School of Rural Management achieved great heights through dedicated efforts.
The following students of KSRM 9th batch kept the halcyon days rolling:
♦ Souradip Mondal secured the 1st position in the Essay Writing Competition
♦ Shikha Kumari and Ankit Sukhwal stood 1st and 2nd respectively in an event where they produced grass root management solutions to rural ground level problems.
♦ Ankit Sukhwal presented his Summer Internship and secured the 2nd spot.
♦ A technical session on “Processes of Strengthening Rural Institutions” was organised and Susruta Dash secured the second prize where he had to brief about the technical session.
