The 3rd National Symposium on Rural Management is being hosted by KIIT School of Rural Management, KIIT University Bhubaneswar from 20th-22nd November 2014, which coincides with our Foundation Day.
The proposed theme of this symposium is “Rural Entrepreneurship and Enterprise for Inclusive Growth”. The growing Urban-Rural inequality as national policy concern and simultaneous emergence of “Rural Entrepreneurship” and “Rural Enterprise” as a driver of economic growth and poverty alleviation led us to narrow down on this topic for the Symposium.
The 3 day symposium will have engaging format with 1st Day assigned for Symposium Inauguration followed by “Dr Varghese Kurien Foundation Day Lecture” and couple of Technical session. The 2nd day will have technical sessions and panel discussion on Rural Entrepreneurship and Rural Enterprise.
The new feature of the event will be 1 day Students Symposium on the same topic in a format being designed by the students of KSRM in which nearly 100 students from other Rural Management B-schools will be invited.
